Our Story

Ripe Chartered Accountants is an accountancy, tax & business advisory firm that specializes in working with owner-managed businesses, providing an array of compliance and advisory services. It all started in 2007 by Robert and Pratima Glazer, and and ever since we have been offering quality services in a range of compliance and advisory services.

For a number of years, Ripe enjoyed a very good working relationship with a company in Mumbai that had been taking care of our bookkeeping needs. But it had always been in our plans to have our own company in India, to control the quality of our entire workflow.

In November 2013, Darshan Shah joined our team to head up operations in India. He’s an experienced chartered accountant, who had been working in London for 10 years. Today, we have an amazing and balanced team at our Ahmedabad office.

The best part is – with today’s technology, Ripe India use exactly the same systems that we do in London – it’s as if they were working right there in our UK office! This means that clients’ records stay in the UK, with Ripe India logging on to systems to carry out their work, be it our on-line document management system or on-line Sage/Xero, all of which have the latest encryption technologies and are backed up on remote servers.

At Ripe, we love staying connected regardless of the distance between the UK and India. Our team in the UK visits India regularly to spend some time with us, discussing our systems, procedures and clients’ needs, and also enjoying the Amdabadi masala tea that is delivered to them at regular intervals.
